This is a very basic book covering the concepts of quilting. It does not contain detailed explanations of "how to," but includes such information as the tools required to begin to quilting, as well as a brief explanation of the steps.
A lot of the steps would have been much easier if there were pictures or diagrams to go along with the directions. If a person was not familiar with sewing I think this book would be hard to follow.
I need to have a truly beginner quilting book. One with no cutting of fat quarters etc. Maybe someone would publish a book on Charms and not have to cut them into other shapes in order to make a beginners quilt. So, you see I am a real beginning beginner lol
Terrific for beginners...I can use more ideas than history. Waste of pages for me because every beginning book has a HISTORY OF QUILTING.Simple ideas and ok information.
Still reading this one lots of good ideas.
Fond this book helpful as I am just starting out.
Explains squinting steps from beginning to end. You won't want to put your new project down!
