This was one of pre truth. I loved this book from beginning to end. I’m getting part 2 now, the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy & Jackson fell right into his trap
good read, kept me interested and curious chapter by chapter. started book two immediately
WOW!!!Jackson was as grimy as they come. Death was to easy for him so it looks like he will get another opportunity to dodge judgement day but the fallout will be worse than it was had he died. I feel so bad for Andre and hope that he will not face being accused of shooting Jackson. There are a few people at the top of my list namely Lauren or Jerrold. Possibly even Sheryl. I’m still trying to figure out how he could only be 38 years old when Summer is 24. Was he 14 when she was born? If age was not constantly being referenced, it probably wouldn’t have bothered me so much. I know that Andre and Summer willl find their way back to each other. Great storyline.
Wow. Pastor Jackson was a hot mess. Pastor was in the pulpit and preaching every Sunday but living and working for the devil. He was sleeping with several women including his daughter’s best friend. He was the owner of a strip club, and had people selling drugs for him. Jackson killed Andre’s parents three years ago and Andre came back for revenge. Andre did not realize that he would fall in love with Jackson’s daughter. I hope that Summer and Andrea will find their way back to each other.
Not sure about this one, as there was just too much going on with the pastor. It didn't seem believable that he could be so dirty and hide it so well. The book wasn't cohesive enough and it definitely needs a good edit. Because it ended with a cliffhanger, I might read part 2 just to see if the pastor gets saved.
The book was ok...confused of why after all Andre has been throu now he will have to be deal with becing accused of shooting Jackson...i guess I will have to suck it up and read book 2
Sometimes leaving a review can become a bit difficult. However I have to be honest. The story itself was intriguing. However there were quite a few grammatical errors is the reason I gave it three stars. Jackson was the devil in the pulpit who used his authority as a Pastor to hide his evil doings. Sadly he was too arrogant to realize that Karma was coming for him from different directions. Sheryl was fed up with trying to be a great and loyal wife to Jackson. Poor Summer was naive about how much of a monster her father truly was. Andre was on a mission to find out what happened to his parents and when the truth was finally revealed. He had no doubts about what needed to be done. I will read part two because as I stated before. The story is intriguing and I always like to give Authors a chance.
This book gives a real accurate portrayal of those secrets that keep us sick!! If you dare to open your mind then you'll enjoy the book! I can't wait to read Part 2....
